Badges & Verification
What each badge means, and how it's earned. None can be self-awarded.
Builder Tiers
Earned from verified evidence of real work. A project counts only once we confirm the GitHub repository is genuinely yours — not a fork, not a copy. Higher tiers need stronger and more varied evidence than shipped projects alone, so they take time rather than volume. Pick a tier to see who's earned it.
A-Player Briefcase
Exceptional, high-confidence reputation across several kinds of verified evidence, with identity verified
Elite Briefcase
A highly proven track record supported by more than one kind of verified evidence
Expert Briefcase
Strong verified outcomes from real work, beyond shipped projects alone
Specialist Briefcase
A growing verified track record with real evidence of execution
Verified Builder
Verified projects you genuinely built. Reputation tiers begin with your first verified working relationship.
Company Verification
Both need an active subscription, and drop if it lapses.
Verified Business
Also verified their company email domain. Reviews count for the most.
Verified
A paying employer with billing on file.
Verified Testimonials
Only a company you actually worked with can leave one. Testimonials are public on your profile and count toward your builder tier — the higher tiers cannot be reached on shipped projects alone.
Verified Testimonial
From a verified working relationship. Quotes a builder writes about themselves don't get the check.
Verified Clients
Both sides have to confirm.
Confirmed Affiliation
Shows on the builder's Experience and the company's Team page.
